About the role#
This software development internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience while supporting technical projects. You will work alongside senior team members, contribute to system maintenance, and participate in team meetings to understand project methodologies. This role is designed as a hybrid position, requiring you to work from the Aguadilla office on average 2 days per week.
What you'll do#
- Support senior team members on assigned technical projects.
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, providing support and suggesting solutions.
- Assist with maintaining and updating hardware, software, and other technical systems.
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with colleagues.
- Learn about new technologies and project methodologies.
- Complete assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
- Participate in periodic reviews to share updates and incorporate feedback.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Basic programming or scripting knowledge, such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work with strict deadlines.
- A collaborative, solution-focused mindset.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- A strong interest in high-tech and a passion for learning.
