About the role#
As a Cloud Developer Intern, you will work on mission-critical applications and build end-to-end technical solutions. You will collaborate with project managers and development partners to design, implement, and support cloud-based systems that solve real customer problems. This position is part-time and operates on a rolling basis.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement cloud solutions.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of cloud infrastructure, platforms, and services.
- Optimize and automate cloud deployment processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Test and troubleshoot cloud systems to ensure reliability, performance, and security.
- Stay current with industry trends and cloud computing best practices to provide recommendations for improvement.
- Support ongoing cloud operations and provide technical assistance as needed.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Development, or a related IT field.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as C, C++, Python, JavaScript, or Java, including associated libraries and web-sockets.
- Understanding of software system design across multiple platform types.
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming principles and Model View Controller design patterns.
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases, GNU, Linux, IPC, process scheduling, and TCP/IP networking protocols.
- Experience with full-stack Java development, Java frameworks, Web Services (SOAP/REST API), responsive JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Node, or React.js), and version control systems like Git.

- This role is based on-site in Aguadilla or San Juan, Puerto Rico.
- This is a part-time internship position.
