About the role#
As a Software Development Engineer Intern, you will join our summer program to work on real-world projects. You will collaborate with engineers to design and build systems that support our products. This is a full-time, paid internship based in Seattle, Washington. You will be expected to work on-site as part of our hybrid model.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to the development cycle of our products.
- Work with peers to design, implement, and test code in a collaborative setting.
- Analyze requirements, test features, and integrate components into applications.
- Create technical documentation for new designs and features.
- Participate in design and code reviews to learn best practices.
- Collaborate with your project team to develop data-driven solutions.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field at an accredited U.S. university.
- At least two additional quarters or semesters of school remaining after the internship concludes.
- Demonstrated programming experience in an object-oriented language such as Python, Go, Java, C#, or C.
- Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: Experience with systems and scripting like Linux or Shell.
- Preferred: Experience with infrastructure and DevOps tools such as CI/CD automation, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- Preferred: Experience with research and applications in areas like AI/ML.
Location & details#
- Location: Seattle, Washington.
- Term: Summer 2027 (12 weeks).
- Work Modality: Hybrid. Employees within 30 miles of the office are required to work on-site at least 30 business days per quarter.
- Compensation: 42 USD - 55 USD per hour.
