About the role#
As a Software Engineer Intern, you will work on a high-impact project that influences the next generation of data storage and cloud technology. You will own your work from concept to delivery, collaborating with mentors to solve complex technical challenges. This role provides real-world development experience on products used by global customers.
What you'll do#
- Manage your assigned project through its complete development cycle, including technical design, implementation, and testing.
- Build new features, optimizations, or infrastructure tools for the core platform to improve performance and stability.
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure product reliability.
- Participate in design discussions and code reviews with senior engineers to refine your architectural skills.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS, MS, or PhD program in Computer Science or a related field.
- Graduation date expected in or after December 2027.
- Proficiency in C++.
- Strong computer science fundamentals.
- A problem-solving attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Availability to work full-time for 12 consecutive weeks during Summer 2027.
