About the role#
The Summer Games is an internship program that simulates a startup accelerator. You will join a team to develop a solution for a complex, multidimensional customer problem. Throughout the program, you will receive mentorship from senior leaders and use company products to build your project. The summer ends with a final Challenge Cup competition where you present your work to senior leadership.
What you'll do#
- Work in teams on a specific challenge project.
- Develop a breakthrough idea or technical solution.
- Collaborate with peers in a startup-style environment.
- Present your final project to senior leadership during the Challenge Cup.
What you'll need#
- Experience with programming languages such as .NET, C++, JavaScript, Java, or Python in an academic, professional, or internship setting.
- Knowledge of software development best practices.
- Ability to learn new languages and frameworks.
- Ability to work effectively in groups.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in a Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field by Summer 2028 or Summer 2029.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to produce technical documentation and design artifacts.
