About the role#
The Summer Games is an internship program designed to help students build technical skills while solving complex, real-world problems. You will work in a startup accelerator environment, collaborating in teams to develop solutions for our customers. The program concludes with a Challenge Cup competition where you will present your work to senior leadership.
What you'll do#
- Develop solutions for pressing and multidimensional customer problems.
- Work in teams on specific challenge projects.
- Receive mentorship from senior leaders throughout the program.
- Solve problems using our products and engagement models.
- Participate in a final Challenge Cup competition and presentation.
What you'll need#
- Experience with programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, C, C++, Assembly, Python, Perl, R, or Bash.
- Background in machine learning, data mining, statistics, or graph algorithms from academic or internship projects.
- Experience conducting research and writing software.
- Ability to produce technical documentation and create design artifacts.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related Technology or Engineering field with an expected graduation in Summer 2028 or Summer 2029.
