About the role#
The Summer Games is an internship program that functions like a startup accelerator. You will join a team to develop a solution for a complex problem faced by our customers. Throughout the program, you will work with Booz Allen products and engagement models while receiving mentorship from senior leaders. The summer ends with a final Challenge Cup competition where you will present your work to leadership.
What you'll do#
- Develop a solution for a complex, multidimensional customer problem.
- Work in a team environment to build your project.
- Participate in mentorship sessions with senior leaders.
- Present your project at a final Challenge Cup competition.
What you'll need#
- Experience with programming languages such as .NET, C++, JavaScript, Java, or Python in a professional, academic, or internship setting.
- Knowledge of software development best practices.
- Ability to learn new languages and frameworks.
- Ability to work in groups.
- Ability to produce technical documentation and create design artifacts.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in a Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field by Summer 2028 or Summer 2029.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
