About the role#
As a Process Development Co-op, you will work with cross-functional teams to develop manufacturing processes for medical devices. You will partner with R&D and Operations to bring designs to life and launch products. This is a paid, full-time, 8-month co-op assignment.
What you'll do#
- Manage the integrity and content of Process Plans, including materials and task sequencing.
- Collaborate with teams to refine manufacturing processes.
- Design, fabricate, and test prototype devices based on clinical feedback.
- Perform process characterization and validation experiments to determine optimal manufacturing settings.
- Research and recommend new technologies for medical device production.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor’s or graduate degree in Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Material Science/Engineering.
- Graduation date between Fall 2028 and Spring 2030.
- Ability to commit to a full 8-month co-op during Winter 2027 or Summer 2027.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
- Reliable transportation to the Maple Grove, Minnesota location.
- Effective communication skills and an interest in medical device manufacturing.
- Previous internship or co-op experience is preferred.

- Modality: Hybrid, with at least four days per week in the office.
- Compensation: $43,368 to $73,736 annually, depending on experience and education.
