About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship based in Boston, Massachusetts, for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on-site at our Charlestown office as part of the R&D team.
What you'll do#
- Help Senior Scientists and Process Engineers reformulate polymer electrolytes.
- Increase the production scale of polymer electrolytes.
- Assist with polymer reprocessing and recovery tasks.
- Prepare membrane electrode assembly components for testing.
- Test the mechanical and electrochemical properties of polymer films ex-situ.
- Conduct electrochemical testing for fuel cells and water electrolyzers.
- Maintain accurate records of all electrochemical testing results.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at a college or university located in Massachusetts.
- Alternatively, enrollment at an out-of-state institution if you are a Massachusetts resident with proof of residency.
- Preferred academic background in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
