About the role#
The Boston Beer Company is hiring a Quality Co-op to support product quality and continuous improvement within our packaging operations. You will work directly with our Quality Assurance team, packaging operators, and Line Structure Team members to ensure our products meet company standards. This is a 6-month, full-time, paid position based at our Breinigsville, Pennsylvania brewery.
What you'll do#
- Perform quality checks on products during the packaging process.
- Monitor packaging line performance to identify potential quality concerns.
- Collect, document, and report quality data.
- Collaborate with team members to investigate and resolve quality issues.
- Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis efforts.
- Support initiatives to improve product consistency and operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate quality records and ensure compliance with established procedures.
- Communicate your findings and recommendations to the Quality Assurance and Operations teams.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Requirement to remain enrolled in school following the completion of the co-op.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on accurate work.
- Excellent documentation and recordkeeping skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to analyze information and solve problems in a manufacturing environment.
- Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- An interest in manufacturing, quality systems, and process improvement.
- Previous experience in a laboratory, manufacturing, or quality-related environment is a plus.

- Location: Breinigsville, PA (On-site, 5 days per week).
- Term: Winter 2027 and Summer 2027 (January 4, 2027, through June 25, 2027).
