About the role#
Gexpro is offering a paid internship for students to gain hands-on experience across various business verticals. You will work on-site at a Gexpro branch, contributing to areas such as operations, quality, sourcing, and inside sales. This role is designed to build your professional skill set through direct involvement in day-to-day business activities.
What you'll do#
- Manage projects that support functional teams including operations, quality, and sourcing.
- Maintain operational documentation such as sales reports, shipping documents, price sheets, and catalogs.
- Collect marketing information regarding customers, competitors, and pricing.
- Enter data into the ERP system.
- Assist the sales team by expediting open orders with vendors and performing PO data entry.
- Handle other tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor's degree program in Business Administration, Management, Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain Management, or a similar field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Strong interest in supply chain operations.
- Ability to solve problems and make sound decisions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to following through on tasks.
- Versatility and the ability to work in an environment that changes often.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

- This position is based in Greenville, South Carolina.
- The role is on-site and full-time.
