About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in Environmental Services within a hospital setting. You will work alongside leadership to develop skills in healthcare support services. The role involves managing frontline team members, coordinating schedules, and focusing on patient experience. You will gain a foundation for a career in business operations.
What you'll do#
- Execute operational standards and maintain facility security.
- Participate in department safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
- Respond to requests and concerns with urgency.
- Identify and correct quality assurance issues.
- Bring creative ideas to the Crothall Healthcare program.
- Lead staff training, including orientation and ongoing development.
- Provide guidance and motivation to associates.
- Manage special projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a college or university junior or senior.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to organize tasks and set priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- An interest in a career with Crothall Healthcare and the Accelerated Manager Program is preferred.
