About the role#
Gexpro is seeking interns to join our business operations. You will work within one of our six business verticals, gaining hands-on experience in areas such as warehouse management, inside sales, program management, quality control, sourcing, and supply chain solutions. This is a paid, full-time opportunity designed to help you build professional skills while contributing to our business goals.
What you'll do#
- Learn the day-to-day operations of the business.
- Manage projects that support functional teams like operations, quality, and sourcing.
- Maintain operational documentation including sales reports, shipping documents, tickets, price sheets, and catalogs.
- Gather information on customers, competitors, and pricing.
- Perform data entry tasks within the ERP system.
- Assist the sales team with order expediting and purchase order entry.
- Contribute to other tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program in Business Administration, Management, Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- A strong interest in supply chain operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Microsoft Excel.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to follow through on tasks.
- Adaptability and comfort working in ambiguous situations.
- A commitment to learning and professional development.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site position based in either Irving, Texas, or Greenville, South Carolina.
- This role is paid and full-time with a rolling term.
