About the role#
The Summer 2027 Commercial Banking Internship is a 10-week program designed to provide undergraduate students with a comprehensive introduction to commercial banking operations, strategies, and career paths. Interns work alongside experienced professionals to gain hands-on exposure to financial solutions and industry insights. The program includes workshops, training sessions, networking opportunities with leadership, and participation in special projects.
What you'll do#
- Conduct market research and financial analysis to identify client needs.
- Assist with financial spreads, due diligence on potential borrowers, and loan document reviews.
- Collaborate with relationship managers, credit analysts, and team leaders on business initiatives.
- Support marketing activities to enhance client engagement and promote services.
- Participate in mandatory compliance training, orientation, and professional development sessions.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate status, specifically a rising senior graduating in 2027.
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field.
- A 3.4 GPA is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- A strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to work.
