About the role#
The Summer 2027 Commercial Banking Internship is a 10-week program designed to provide undergraduate students with a comprehensive introduction to commercial banking operations and strategy. Interns will collaborate with seasoned professionals, receive mentorship, and participate in training sessions, networking events, and speaker series to gain industry insights.
What you'll do#
- Participate in program activities, including workshops, training sessions, and special projects.
- Conduct market research and financial analysis to identify client needs.
- Assist with financial spreads, due diligence, and loan document reviews.
- Collaborate with relationship managers and credit analysts on business initiatives.
- Support marketing activities to enhance client engagement and promote banking services.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Mathematics.
- A 3.4 GPA is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong analytical mindset with a detail-oriented and proactive approach to work.
Location & details#
- Location: Greenville, South Carolina.
- Work Modality: On-site, 5 days per week.
- Commitment: Full-time (40 hours per week) during the Summer 2027 term.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
