About the role#
This is a 10-week summer internship program based in Richmond, Virginia. You will work on-site full-time to gain experience in commercial banking operations and strategy. The program includes workshops, training sessions, and networking events with senior leaders and peers.
What you'll do#
- Participate in program activities, including workshops and special projects.
- Conduct market research and financial analysis to identify client needs.
- Assist with financial spreads, due diligence on potential borrowers, and loan document reviews.
- Collaborate with relationship managers and credit analysts on business initiatives.
- Support marketing activities to improve client engagement.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Mathematics.
- A 3.4 GPA is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- A detail-oriented and proactive approach to tasks.
