About the role#
The Summer 2027 Commercial Banking Internship is a 10-week program designed to provide undergraduate students with an introduction to commercial banking operations, strategies, and career paths. Interns work alongside experienced professionals to gain hands-on exposure to financial solutions and industry insights. The program includes workshops, training sessions, networking opportunities, and mentorship to support professional development.
What you'll do#
- Conduct market research and financial analysis to identify client needs and recommend banking solutions.
- Assist with financial spreads, due diligence on potential borrowers, and loan document reviews.
- Collaborate with relationship managers, credit analysts, and team leaders on business initiatives.
- Support marketing activities to enhance client engagement and promote banking services.
- Participate in mandatory workshops, training sessions, and orientation programs.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field (rising senior graduating in 2027 preferred).
- A 3.4 GPA is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong analytical mindset and an eagerness to learn.
- Detail-oriented and proactive approach to tasks.
- Ability to effectively access and interpret information on computer screens, documents, and reports.
