About the role#
The Summer 2027 Commercial Banking Internship is a 10-week program designed to provide undergraduate students with a comprehensive introduction to commercial banking operations, strategies, and career paths. Interns work alongside seasoned professionals to gain hands-on exposure to financial solutions and industry insights. The program includes orientation, professional development workshops, mentorship, speaker series, and networking opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Participate in program activities, workshops, training sessions, and special projects.
- Conduct market research and financial analysis to identify client needs.
- Assist with financial spreads, due diligence, and loan document reviews.
- Collaborate with relationship managers, credit analysts, and team leaders on business initiatives.
- Support marketing activities to enhance client engagement and promote banking services.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Mathematics.
- Rising Senior status with an expected graduation date in 2027.
- A 3.4 GPA is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Detail-oriented and proactive work style.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship located on-site in Raleigh, North Carolina.
- The role requires a 40-hour work week in an office environment.
