About the role#
We are looking for a Pharmacy Intern to join our team at a locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart store. This role provides practical, real-world training for future pharmacists within a community pharmacy setting. You will work directly with an Associate-Owner to gain experience in retail pharmacy management and patient care.
What you'll do#
- Greet all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Manage customer confidentiality, consent, and privacy requirements.
- Maintain high visibility to the public while on duty.
- Learn to manage a retail pharmacy and handle OTC products.
- Develop skills in disease state management, drug therapy, and patient counseling.
- Enhance communication with patients, co-workers, and other health care professionals.
What you'll need#
- You are currently a student in Pharmaceutical Sciences or a future pharmacist.
- You want to provide an exceptional experience for every pharmacy customer.

- Location: 279 Yonge St., Toronto, ON.
- This is a paid, part-time position.
- Work is on-site.
- The pay range is $22.00 to $28.75 per hour, depending on experience and location.
