About the role#
As a Pharmacy Student at Sobeys, you will gain hands-on experience in pharmacy operations and patient care. This role provides a progressive learning environment where you will complete essential training toward becoming a licensed Pharmacist while contributing to daily store activities.
What you'll do#
- Perform professional pharmacy tasks suited to your current level of education.
- Manage prescription assembly, data entry, and filing.
- Process customer transactions and handle prescription intake and release.
- Support pharmacy operations through compounding, pill pack assembly, and drug order management.
- Maintain inventory by ordering and replenishing supplies and keeping the workspace clean.
- Promote pharmacy programs and assist with customer inquiries over the phone.
- Follow and implement company standards in all daily tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a pharmacy program at a recognized institution.
- Previous experience working in a pharmacy setting.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own tasks effectively.
- Clear communication skills, both written and oral.
