About the role#
This Finance Student Co-op role provides hands-on experience in forecasting, reporting, and financial operations within a large retail organization. You will work both independently and as part of a team to support budgeting and promotional activities. This position offers exposure to how category plans are built and how finance supports broader business decisions.
What you'll do#
- Build and update financial models in Excel to support budgeting and forecasting decisions.
- Extract and organize financial data from SAP, ensuring accuracy and readiness for analysis.
- Track forecasting accuracy and identify trends to improve future financial plans.
- Use Excel and AI tools to generate insights and recommend process improvements.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities.
- Collaborate with category management and operations teams to monitor financial metrics.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and an interest in building financial models.
- Experience working with data and a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and present your findings clearly.
- Interest in financial planning and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
