About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship based in Lethbridge, Alberta. You will work on-site at the branch, gaining practical experience in banking operations and client service. The position follows a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Analyze client needs to identify gaps and suggest appropriate products or services.
- Educate clients on product features and financial concepts.
- Handle banking transactions and complete administrative tasks.
- Document client interactions accurately.
- Follow up with clients and identify opportunities for referrals or cross-selling.
- Resolve routine problems and escalate complex issues when necessary.
- Build relationships with team members, managers, and clients to meet goals.
- Participate in branch initiatives and follow established advisor guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- Strong communication skills and a curious mindset.
- Ability to apply critical thinking and data analysis to solve problems.
- Focus on client centricity and providing advice-based solutions.
- Digital literacy for navigating banking systems and tools.
