About the role#
This is a 10-week summer program within the Quantitative Technology Services group. You will work on project-based assignments and provide daily support to the trading desk. The role focuses on building technical solutions for complex business issues, managing project delivery through quant libraries, and improving existing pricing tools. You will gain exposure to capital markets while working alongside technologists and business units.
What you'll do#
- Design, code, review, and test applications using Software Development Life Cycle best practices.
- Gather requirements from the trading desk and manage the delivery of technical solutions.
- Maintain and improve current pricing tools and operational frameworks.
- Provide daily quantitative support to trading desk quants and the broader trading team.
- Assist with the pricing of new products and evaluate the feasibility of various modeling approaches.
- Conduct research and special projects related to trades, risk management, and pricing models.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Masters or PhD program, with an expected graduation date in December 2027 or May 2028.
- A completed four-year degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics.
- Advanced programming skills in languages such as Python, C++, R, or Java.
- Proficiency in mathematics and knowledge of derivatives and financial products.
- Experience with software design principles and tool building.
