About the role#
As a Client Advisor Intern, you will serve as an ambassador for the bank. You will focus on everyday banking needs and help clients achieve their financial goals. This role requires a blend of sales expertise and problem-solving skills to ensure each client interaction adds value. You will collaborate with internal partners to provide support and guidance to our clients.
What you'll do#
- Engage with clients throughout the branch and the community to identify their banking needs.
- Provide advice and help clients with a wide range of financial transactions.
- Educate clients on our services and demonstrate how to use digital banking tools.
- Identify and act on sales and referral opportunities to retain business.
- Listen to client concerns and take ownership of resolving or preventing banking problems.
- Build and maintain relationships with partners to maximize business opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Fluency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese, both verbal and written.
- A strong passion for client service and a track record in a target-driven sales environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Digital literacy across various devices, including smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
- Flexibility, strong personal ethics, and a desire to learn.
- Availability to work all business hours.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the financial or service industry and those who hold a Mutual Funds accreditation, such as the Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course.
