About the role#
This summer internship offers hands-on experience within our Corporate Banking Coverage team in Toronto. You will build a foundation in corporate banking while supporting clients in the food, beverage, and agribusiness sectors. The program is designed to develop your skills through practical application and professional mentorship, serving as a potential pipeline for full-time Analyst roles.
What you'll do#
- Provide analytical, transaction, and marketing support to the Canada Corporate Banking Coverage team.
- Assist Analysts and Associates with tasks related to the execution of client transactions.
- Prepare presentations, company profiles, and other materials for Credit Analysts and Relationship Managers.
- Support the evaluation and development of new business prospects.
- Collaborate with professionals across our product offerings while delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
What you'll need#
- Current junior standing with a strong GPA.
- Pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.
- Completed coursework in business, banking, or finance.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and communication skills.
- Self-motivation, initiative, and a strong work ethic.
- Sincere interest in food and agribusiness with a desire to pursue a career in corporate banking.
- Relevant club participation or prior internship experience is preferred.

- Modality: This is a full-time, 10-week, on-site position.
- Compensation: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour CAD.
