About the role#
As a Project Finance Summer Analyst, you will support the structuring and execution of renewable energy and infrastructure financing transactions across the Americas. You will work alongside experienced deal teams on projects involving solar, wind, battery storage, and other technologies. This 10-week, full-time program provides exposure to project finance principles, market research, and risk analysis through active participation in live transactions.
What you'll do#
- Assist with pitching, structuring, executing, and monitoring project finance transactions.
- Review financial models for renewable energy and infrastructure opportunities.
- Analyze key project and financing documents, including power purchase, construction, and maintenance agreements.
- Draft internal transaction materials and conduct research on project finance topics.
- Support portfolio monitoring tasks, such as risk analysis, refinancings, and restructurings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program with an anticipated graduation date in spring 2028.
- A strong academic record with a GPA of 3.5 or above.
- A genuine interest in renewable energy, infrastructure, and project finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a willingness to learn transaction-specific financial modeling.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for visa sponsorship.
