About the role#
This is a full-time, 10-week paid internship program for Summer 2027. You will work within the Rabo AgriFinance team to gain practical experience in financial analysis and agricultural banking. You will be paired with a mentor and participate in professional development opportunities throughout the summer.
What you'll do#
- Learn about loan structures, credit products, and their applications.
- Handle daily tasks such as sourcing loan documents, creating covenants, and imaging documents.
- Perform financial spreading and financial statement analysis.
- Participate in team meetings and use internal technologies.
- Work cross-functionally with the CRT team and rotate through functions including relationship management, loan reviews, underwriting, and appraisals.
- Join client ride-alongs and research loan delinquencies.
- Complete a summer-long project and present your findings to leadership and your local team.
- Travel up to 10-15% of the time.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Ag Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to manage time and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently or in a team.
- Knowledge or experience in agriculture is preferred.
