About the role#
As a Wholesale Banking Summer Intern, you will join the Food & Agribusiness Corporate Banking Coverage team in Chicago. This 10-week program provides hands-on experience in corporate banking, offering exposure to live transactions and new business development. You will work alongside Analysts, Associates, Credit Analysts, and Relationship Managers to support our clients in the food and agribusiness sector. The program is designed to build practical skills and serves as a pipeline for full-time Analyst opportunities for high-performing interns.
What you'll do#
- Provide analytical, transaction, and marketing support to the coverage team.
- Assist with transaction execution and new business development tasks.
- Prepare client and internal presentations, company profiles, and other marketing materials.
- Support Credit Analysts and Relationship Managers with research, analysis, and relevant projects.
- Collaborate with professionals across our product offerings.
- Deliver accurate work within tight timelines.
What you'll need#
- Current junior status pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong academic record with relevant business, banking, and finance coursework.
- Participation in finance clubs or other collegiate involvement.
- Excellent quantitative, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Sincere interest in the food and agribusiness sector and a desire to pursue a career in corporate banking.
- Previous professional internship experience is preferred.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis without sponsorship.
