    About the role#

    We are looking for a Data Analyst co-op student to join our Personal Banking team for the Winter 2027 term. You will work within areas such as Payment Innovation, Customer Data Management, or Cards & Loyalty. This role focuses on transforming raw data into strategies that help our business grow.

    What you'll do#

    • Identify, manage, and interpret data to produce actionable business insights.
    • Use Business Intelligence tools to streamline processes and support decision-making.
    • Build data pipelines, perform feature engineering, and conduct data deep dives.
    • Develop and implement machine learning models.
    • Present your findings and recommendations to business partners and senior management.
    • Apply creative problem-solving to address complex business challenges.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a post-secondary program for Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • Proficiency in data analysis tools like SQL, Python, or R.
    • Experience with Business Intelligence platforms such as Tableau or Power BI.
    • Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
    • Excellent communication skills for presenting technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Familiarity with cloud technologies, data engineering, or software development practices is an asset.
    • Bilingualism in English and French is considered an asset.
