About the role#
As an AI & Data Analytics and Reporting Analyst Co-op, you will support technology operations by turning information into insights. You will partner with stakeholders to understand their business needs and organize data from Excel, flat files, databases, and other repositories. This role focuses on building and maintaining Power BI dashboards while exploring how AI tools like Copilot and AI agents can simplify manual work. You will manage reporting initiatives as small projects and use data to support audit, compliance, and operational requirements.
What you'll do#
- Connect to and retrieve data from various organizational sources.
- Clean, validate, and analyze data to identify trends and business opportunities.
- Create and maintain Power BI data models, reports, and dashboards with reliable refresh processes.
- Use AI solutions and automation to summarize information and streamline repeatable activities.
- Manage reporting initiatives by gathering requirements, coordinating activities, and engaging stakeholders.
- Apply technical skills including Power Query, DAX, SQL, and HTML to transform datasets.
- Digitize manual activities to improve existing processes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in post-secondary education with an intent to return to full-time studies.
- Pursuing a degree or diploma in computer science, analytics, or a related field.
- Experience with Power BI, Python, HTML, and Microsoft Power Platform tools including SharePoint and Power Automate.
- Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Easy BI, Jira, and Confluence.
- Hands-on experience with AI concepts, AI agents, or automation use cases is an asset.
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly and work effectively within a team.
Location & details#
- Location: Toronto, Ontario.
- Modality: Hybrid, with 1-3 days per week on-site.
- Term: Rolling, with 8 or 12 month opportunities available.
- Employment: Full-time.
