About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Private Banking Associate Co-op position for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on-site in Toronto, Ontario, for a four-month duration from January 2027 to April 2027. This role provides administrative and sales support to Private Banking Advisors and serves as a point of contact for clients.
What you'll do#
- Provide service to Private Banking clients and assist with transactional banking needs.
- Respond to client queries regarding lending, borrowing, investing, or commercial lending.
- Greet customers arriving for meetings and handle incoming telephone calls.
- Process wires, tax and bill payments, money orders, drafts, and currency exchanges.
- Complete complex investigations regarding account activity.
- Review customer documentation to ensure compliance with regulations and bank policies.
- Coordinate communication for credit renewals, reviews, and temporary overdraft protection.
- Monitor the diary for upcoming maturities, renewals, and expiries.
- Assist with marketing or client events and maintain deposit and investment accounts.
- Input credit details and loan notes into the system.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in post-secondary education with plans to return to full-time studies.
- Academic background in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- Experience with loan, mortgage, and investment products.
- Working knowledge of branch routine and operations.
- Strong critical thinking skills.

- Compensation: Annualized base salary range of $51,500 to $60,200.
