About the role#
This is a 10-week summer internship based in Atlanta. You will work with the Data Science team to solve real business questions. You will handle meaningful projects that contribute to our operations while building your professional network and gaining insight into the restaurant industry.
What you'll do#
- Apply statistical and analytical techniques to explore data, identify patterns, and uncover insights that support business decisions.
- Support the development and testing of predictive models, machine learning approaches, and other data science solutions.
- Prepare, clean, and transform data from multiple sources for analysis and modeling.
- Partner with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to translate business questions into data-driven solutions.
- Visualize and communicate findings in a clear way to help business partners understand and act on insights.
- Take on a project that delivers value to the Data Science team and the broader business.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university program, or graduation within the past 6 months.
- Majors in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- Strong academic performance and a demonstrated interest in professional growth.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
- A curious and proactive mindset, with a willingness to take initiative and learn from others.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work comfortably with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members at all levels in a professional environment.
