About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to work within Canadian Banking, focusing on automotive finance. You will work as part of a team to support credit and fulfillment activities during the winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Spread interim financial statements using Moody’s Risk Analyst to ensure accuracy and meet deadlines.
- Analyze trends to monitor client account health and assist in determining risk ratings.
- Gather due diligence and information from syndicate banks to complete analysis.
- Create reports using Excel or PowerPoint.
- Provide administrative support for credit and fulfillment tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program for Business or Automotive.
- A genuine interest in the automotive industry.
- Basic credit skills, including experience with financial statement spreading, risk assessment, and financial modeling.
- Intermediate knowledge of accounting and financial statement analysis.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a focus on finding solutions.
- Ability to organize tasks and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders.
- High level of competency with the MS Office Suite.
- Participation in extracurricular activities such as clubs, competitions, or conferences.
