About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for the Winter 2027 term (January to April). The role is based on-site in Acton, Ontario. You will join the Wealth Management team to gain hands-on experience and contribute to business operations. This program covers multiple potential roles, such as Global Portfolio Solutions Intern Analyst, Private Banking Credit Structuring Co-op Analyst, or Credit Structuring Financial Planner Intern.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements for reporting periods.
- Support the team with financial data gathering, analysis, and the presentation of monthly and quarterly results.
- Help with reporting, planning, and forecasting tasks.
- Work with management on planning and continual process reviews, including implementing recommended changes.
- Provide a courteous environment for internal and external clients regarding account transfer inquiries.
- Execute transfer-related activities efficiently.
- Participate in special projects and ad-hoc analyses.
- Escalate problem items to the Manager when necessary.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary education program.
- Academic or practical experience in finance, accounting, or economics.
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Access.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and lead time-sensitive, high-volume projects.
- A motivated, independent, and results-oriented approach.
- An interest in extracurricular activities like clubs, conferences, and competitions.
