About the role#
The Retail Banking Internship is a full-time, paid summer program for students interested in a career in banking. You will join the Business Management and Commit To CARE team, where you will gain exposure to project and priority management. This role involves partnering with retail leadership and support partners to contribute to initiatives that improve the colleague experience. You will develop your professional skills through hands-on project work, interactions with senior leadership, and participation in team-based activities.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate directly with your manager on daily responsibilities and department initiatives.
- Support the development of strategic execution plans and presentations.
- Provide recommendations to improve your department.
- Work both independently and within a team to achieve project goals.
- Participate in all internship events and professional development sessions.
- Use Microsoft Office applications and internal systems to support business objectives.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma and current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited university.
- At least one quarter or semester of school remaining after the summer program concludes.
- Demonstrated leadership and teamwork through work experience or extracurricular activities.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to apply critical thought processes to develop solutions.
- Professional demeanor and a positive business presence.
- A strong interest in pursuing a career in banking.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration and Communications.
Location & details#
- This is a hybrid position.
- Locations include Columbus, OH; Hoover, AL; Detroit, MI; Tupelo, MS; Denver, CO; Charlotte, NC; Minnetonka, MN; Cleveland, OH; and Houston, TX.
- Internship term: Summer 2027.
- This position does not offer visa sponsorship. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
