About the role#
This position focuses on client-centered sales and problem-solving. You will assist clients with their everyday banking, credit, and investment needs. As an ambassador for the branch, you will help clients reach their goals by providing advice and demonstrating digital banking tools. You will also work with partners to ensure clients receive the right support for their specific financial situation.
What you'll do#
- Engage with clients in the branch and the community to uncover banking needs.
- Provide advice and identify opportunities for sales or referrals.
- Help clients with financial transactions and respond to their inquiries.
- Teach clients how to use digital banking tools to improve their experience.
- Listen to client needs and take ownership of resolving or preventing banking problems.
- Maintain relationships with internal partners to support business growth.
What you'll need#
- Mutual Funds accreditation, such as the Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course.
- A focus on putting clients first and a history of success in target-driven sales environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to build rapport with people.
- Flexibility, a willingness to learn, and strong personal ethics.
- Digital literacy across various devices like smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
- Availability to work all open business hours.
- Experience building client relationships within the financial or service industry is preferred.
