About the role#
This internship position focuses on client-centered sales and problem-solving. You will assist clients with everyday banking needs and act as an ambassador for the branch. You will collaborate with partners to help clients reach their financial goals, whether you are onboarding a new client or referring complex needs to a specialist.
What you'll do#
- Engage with clients in the branch and the community to uncover banking needs.
- Provide advice and identify sales or referral opportunities.
- Educate clients on banking tools and use technology to deliver a positive experience.
- Handle client-initiated contact and assist with a range of financial transactions.
- Listen to clients to understand their individual needs.
- Resolve and prevent banking problems for clients.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal partners.
What you'll need#
- Passion for putting clients first and success in a target-driven sales environment.
- Strong problem-solving and people skills.
- Ability to build relationships and proactively connect with others.
- Flexibility, eagerness to learn, strong personal ethics, and a drive for success.
- Digital literacy across devices like smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
- Availability to work all business hours.
- Students pursuing degrees in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- A track record in the financial or service industry and Mutual Funds accreditation are preferred.
