About the role#
As a Pharmacy Student at Sobeys, you will gain hands-on experience in pharmacy operations while completing your professional training. You will work under supervision to provide customer care and assist with daily administrative and clinical tasks. This role is designed to help you build the skills necessary to become a licensed Pharmacist.
What you'll do#
- Perform pharmacy tasks appropriate to your level of education.
- Manage prescription assembly, data entry, and compounding.
- Process customer transactions and handle prescription intake and release.
- Answer phone inquiries and promote pharmacy profile programs.
- Assemble pill packs and maintain inventory through drug order creation and receiving.
- Handle general administrative duties such as filing, cleaning, and replenishing supplies.
- Follow all company standards and operational procedures.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Pharmacy program from a recognized institution.
- Previous experience working in a pharmacy setting.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Above average oral and written communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
