About the role#
As a Merchandising Coordinator Co-op, you will join our team to support pricing initiatives across our retail banners. You will work with the category management team to meet financial metrics and gain exposure to the full category management process. This role involves balancing independent tasks with team collaboration to ensure data integrity and effective pricing strategies.
What you'll do#
- Collect and analyze competitive retail prices.
- Manage regular margins for assigned categories using system and database applications.
- Maintain retail pricing strategies and costing documentation in SAP.
- Analyze reports from Nielsen, SAP, BW, IRI, and CIS to identify improvement opportunities.
- Run price optimization scenarios to help category management maximize sales and profitability.
- Resolve third-party pricing issues and support store teams with audit or pricing concerns.
- Suggest pricing adjustments to protect store margins.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Business, Commerce, Finance, or related program.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, including lookups, matching, and data organization.
- A detail-oriented mindset that identifies discrepancies and takes initiative to resolve them.
- Strong problem-solving skills to investigate root causes and implement practical solutions.
- Ability to work across different teams, ask questions, and maintain project momentum.

- Compensation: CAD 21.50 - 25.00 per hour.
