About the role#
This is a paid Pharmacy Student position based in Bedford, Nova Scotia. You will gain experience in pharmacy operations, administration, and customer care while working toward your goal of becoming a licensed Pharmacist. This role follows a rolling term and requires on-site attendance.
What you'll do#
- Perform professional pharmacy activities suitable for your level of education.
- Handle prescription assembly, data entry, and filing.
- Process customer transactions and manage the release of prescriptions.
- Assist with compounding and pill pack assembly.
- Manage drug orders, including creation and receiving.
- Maintain inventory by ordering and replenishing supplies.
- Answer phones and promote company Profile programs.
- Keep the workspace clean and follow all company standards.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Pharmacy program from a recognized institution.
- Previous experience working in a pharmacy setting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Above average oral and written communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and be self-directed.
