About the role#
We are looking for a Pharmacy Student to join our team in Keswick. This is a part-time, paid position that offers hands-on experience in a pharmacy setting. You will work on-site and participate in tasks ranging from automation management to prescription preparation.
What you'll do#
- Generate automation reports and manage workflow targets using Kroll pharmacy management software.
- Package medications into unit dose pouches using automation machinery, including performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory levels and place orders for supplies or specialty items.
- Assist with inventory pre-count preparation and support inventory count vendors.
- Action drug recalls and secure alternatives when products are unavailable.
- Prepare medication orders for nursing homes and patients, including blister packs and mixtures.
- Label medications and over-the-counter products.
- Investigate and troubleshoot orders to ensure timely shipping.
What you'll need#
- Post-secondary education in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
- Experience with Kroll software and Long Term Care pharmacy operations.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.
- High attention to detail and the ability to solve problems independently.
- Ability to move quickly and consistently for extended periods.
- Flexibility to support different departments as needed.
- Candidates 18 years or older must complete a criminal background check.

- Employment Type: Part-time.
- Compensation: $20.90 - $28.60 per hour, based on experience and region.
