About the role#
We are hiring a part-time Pharmacy Student to join our team in Saskatoon. This is an on-site, paid position that offers a rolling term for students currently pursuing pharmaceutical sciences.
What you'll do#
- Generate automation reports and prepare prescriptions using Kroll pharmacy management software.
- Package medications into unit dose pouches and manage the automation machine, including maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory levels and place orders for specialty items or supplies.
- Prepare for inventory counts and assist vendors during count days.
- Action drug recalls and secure alternative products.
- Follow step-by-step workflows to prepare medication orders, blister packs, and mixtures for patients.
- Investigate and troubleshoot orders to ensure timely shipment.
- Label medications and over-the-counter products.
What you'll need#
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field.
- Previous pharmacy experience, specifically with Long Term Care.
- Proficiency with Kroll software.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well within a team, solve problems, and make decisions.
- A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to be adaptable and move quickly for extended periods.

- Location: 2901-8th St E, Saskatoon, SK.
- Employment type: Part-time.
- Pay range: $20.90 - $28.60 per hour.
- Note: Candidates 18 years or older must complete a criminal background check.
