About the role#

As a Pharmacy Student at Loblaw Companies Limited, you will gain hands-on experience in a retail pharmacy setting. This position is full-time and on-site, focusing on supporting pharmacy operations, inventory management, and prescription fulfillment processes.

What you'll do#

• Generate automation reports using Health Watch pharmacy management software.
• Manage automation workflows to meet established targets and schedules.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory at pre-specified levels and place orders for supplies and specialty items.
• Prepare medication orders, including labeling medication and over-the-counter products, and preparing blister packs and mixtures.
• Follow standardized workflows to package medications for shipment and nursing home orders.
• Investigate and troubleshoot orders to ensure timely delivery.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in a Pharmaceutical Sciences program.
• Previous experience with Health Watch software.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.
• Physical ability to manoeuvre quickly and consistently for extended periods.
