About the role#
This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacy Student position based in Barrie, Ontario. The role operates on a rolling basis and is a paid opportunity for students currently pursuing studies in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
What you'll do#
- Generate automation reports using Health Watch pharmacy management software.
- Manage automation workflows to meet specific targets and schedules.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory at pre-specified minimum stock levels and place orders for pharmacy supplies or specialty items.
- Follow step-by-step processes to prepare medication orders for patients, including labeling medications and over-the-counter products.
- Work with a team to use automated processes for packaging nursing home orders and preparing shipments.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Pharmaceutical Sciences program.
- Experience with Health Watch software.
- Strong attention to detail and a positive, hardworking attitude.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a focus on teamwork.
- Ability to manoeuvre quickly and consistently for extended periods.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to different departments as needed.
