About the role#
As a Pharmacy Student at Loblaw Companies Limited, you will gain hands-on experience in a retail pharmacy setting. This position is full-time and on-site, focusing on supporting pharmacy operations, inventory management, and prescription fulfillment processes.
What you'll do#
- Generate automation reports using Health Watch pharmacy management software.
- Manage automation workflows to meet established targets and schedules.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory at pre-specified levels and place orders for supplies and specialty items.
- Prepare medication orders, including labeling medication and over-the-counter products, and preparing blister packs and mixtures.
- Follow standardized workflows to package medications for shipment and nursing home orders.
- Investigate and troubleshoot orders to ensure timely delivery.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Pharmaceutical Sciences program.
- Previous experience with Health Watch software.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.
- Physical ability to manoeuvre quickly and consistently for extended periods.
