About the role#
This position offers practical experience for pharmacy students within a community pharmacy setting. You will work in a locally owned store to help deliver health services while gaining real-world training to complement your academic studies. This role focuses on patient interaction and the daily operations of a retail pharmacy.
What you'll do#
- Greet all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Maintain customer confidentiality and manage consent according to privacy requirements.
- Remain clearly identifiable to the public while on duty.
- Learn about the expanding roles of a community pharmacist, including disease state management, drug therapy, and patient counseling.
- Develop skills in managing a retail pharmacy and identifying over-the-counter products.

- Current enrollment in a pharmacy student program.

- Employment type: Part-time, hourly.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Pay range: $22.00 to $28.75 per hour.
