About the role#
This Pharmacy Intern position offers practical experience within a community pharmacy setting. You will work under a local Associate-Owner while gaining exposure to the operations of a retail pharmacy. This role is designed to enhance your academic training through hands-on work in a community environment.
What you'll do#
- Greet and acknowledge all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Manage privacy requirements, including customer confidentiality and consent processes.
- Provide health, beauty, and convenience services to the community.
- Learn about the expanding responsibilities of a community pharmacist.
- Develop skills necessary to manage a retail pharmacy.
- Maintain high visibility and accessibility to the public.
