About the role#
This position offers practical, real-world experience for future pharmacists within a community pharmacy setting. You will work in a retail environment designed to enhance your academic training, providing exposure to the expanding roles of a community pharmacist and the skills necessary to manage pharmacy operations.
What you'll do#
- Acknowledge all customers approaching the pharmacy.
- Ensure customer confidentiality and manage consent requirements.
- Maintain clear identification to the public while on duty.
- Assist in the delivery of health, beauty, and convenience services.
- Engage in patient counseling and communicate effectively with patients, staff, and other healthcare workers.
- Apply knowledge of OTC products, disease state management, and drug therapy.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment or background in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nursing, or Public Health.
- Strong communication skills.
- Understanding of drug therapy and disease state management.
- Knowledge of OTC products and patient counseling techniques.

- Compensation: $23.20 - $30.25 per hour.
