About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Project Engineering internship based in North Berwick, Maine, for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on-site to provide engineering support across various project phases. This role requires U.S. citizenship to access program information.
What you'll do#
- Manage day-to-day tasks and prioritize your workload to ensure timely completion.
- Maintain organization across multiple active projects.
- Prepare technical reports that summarize engineering data, project performance, and key insights.
- Support projects from the preliminary design phase through to detailed design.
- Coordinate with team members to advance technology and improve processes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- Completion of at least 30 credit hours by the start of the internship.
- A minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- Ability to remain enrolled through the end of the internship session.
- Experience with problem-solving, adaptability, and continuous learning in aviation or aerospace is preferred.
- Prior experience through an RTX internship, co-op, or work placement is a plus.
