About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will work on-site in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This role requires you to be authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
What you'll do#
- Update systems level requirements and design documents.
- Define and update input and output data for the system.
- Support system level verification activities.
- Build or enhance tools that aid systems engineering tasks.
- Investigate and help develop new and emerging avionics technologies.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or advanced degree program in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM major.
- Ability to work on-site for the duration of the internship.
- A passion for avionics.
- Basic experience with Python or other scripting languages.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently as a self-starter.
- A pilot's license is a plus.
