About the role#
As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will take on responsibilities similar to our full-time engineers. Your work contributes directly to the success of our flying constellation. We expect you to take ownership of your projects and effect change. You must be comfortable facing challenges that lack known solutions and be willing to work as a hands-on contributor. We require a minimum commitment of 12 weeks for this in-person position.
What you'll do#
- Own the design, development, analysis, manufacturing, and testing of novel spacecraft components.
- Build complete tools and testing setups, focusing on finishing and shipping your work.
- Prototype and iterate rapidly.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Ability to create scrappy solutions alongside experience building and shipping complex, high-quality projects.
- Capability to work independently while knowing when to seek guidance from experienced team members.
