About the role#
Raytheon Technologies is hiring a Repair Structures Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position based in East Hartford, Connecticut. Please note that U.S. citizenship is required for this role.
What you'll do#
- Assist in structural assessments for engine component repairs.
- Evaluate structural criteria including LCF, fracture, strength, creep, and vibration.
- Coordinate structural analysis requirements with module centers and Component Integrated Product Teams.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Actively enrolled in your degree program through the end of the internship.
- Completion of at least 60 credit hours by the start of the internship.
- A minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- Experience gained through coursework, research, projects, or previous jobs.
- Experience with Finite Element Analysis software like ANSYS or similar tools.
- Ability to work within a team and communicate ideas clearly to various audiences.
- Prior experience with RTX internships or co-ops is a plus.
